Marine consulting and safety specialists AMS Global Group has announced the appointment of a new board director as it focuses on growth markets and record revenues.

The Aberdeen-based group said Graeme Reid brings with him a wealth of management and board experience in the marine consulting market. Previous roles he has held include director-level positions at a number of well-known organisations including Maritime Assurance & Consulting Ltd, which Reid founded in 2010.

Graeme Reid said:

The AMS Global Group consists of subsidiary companies Aberdeen Marine Surveyors Ltd and AMS Safety Ltd. The group has 24 employees, with additional expertise provided by over 11 associate consultants to service growing demand. The group which was founded in 2012, is on target for a record year of revenue growth in 2020, with bases in Aberdeen, Great Yarmouth, Invergordon, Newcastle and Peterhead.
